Donna Bransford is a consultant to foundations and organizations working for social change. The founder of DNB Strategic Consulting, Donna's current work focuses on organizational development, network and capacity building, fundraising strategy for social justice organizations and promoting diversity within the field of philanthropy.

Donna has worked in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors for more than 17 years, serving in several leadership positions including executive director of Changemakers, a public foundation and donor education provider; director of ACORN International, where she helped establish the international program of the nation's largest membership organization of low-income families; director of outreach at Tides Foundation, managing donor engagement programs for a national community of progressive donors; and director of development and marketing at Project Open Hand, an organization providing services to people living with HIV/AIDS and other life threatening illnesses.

Donna is currently a member of the board of directors of GroundSpark and lives in Oakland, Calif. She received her B.A. from Wesleyan University, speaks conversational Spanish and is a proud finisher of the Honolulu Marathon.
