North Carolina is the site of NCRP's second in a series of reports from the Grantmaking for Community Impact Project (GCIP). In the newly released report "Strengthening Democracy, Increasing Opportunities: Impacts of Advocacy, Organizing and Civic Engagement in North Carolina" documented how 13 local nonprofits and their allies leveraged foundation grants to secure nearly $2 billion in benefits for North Carolinians. The first report looked at more than a dozen nonprofits in New Mexico.

- Student Action with Farmworkers
- Toxic Free North Carolina
In partnership with the N.C. Center for Nonprofits and the NC Network of Grantmakers, NCRP is presenting the results on May 11, at a gathering in Greensboro, N.C.
