Philanthropy at Its Best - The Next Chapter
National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, Tides Center, and the Wallace Alexander Gerbode Foundation
Philanthropy is abuzz with the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy's Criteria for Philanthropy at Its Best. This incisive report has grantmakers and nonprofits nationwide discussing how marginalized communities benefit from grantmaking, why diversity and inclusiveness matter, and how multi-year general operating support grants make a difference. But how does conversation about these important issues become commitment? How can we move from dialogue to deeds? Join NCRP Executive Director Aaron Dorfman for these two events in the Bay Area to help write the next chapter of Philanthropy at Its Best. Hear about the developing national conversation and contribute your ideas for how we can all work to improve how philanthropy is practiced. Add your voice to a growing campaign for more accountable, effective, and responsive philanthropy.
