What are you grateful for?
During National Community Foundation Week, I am grateful to be part of a community foundation that consistently receives recognition as one of the best in the nation, and our recognition is your recognition.
Since 2000, Community Foundation of Greater South Wood County has received national and international awards and recognition for our work. Just this month, we were highlighted in an article published by the National [Committee for] Responsive Philanthropy for our efforts to evaluate and measure our impact (www.ncrp.org).
But we know that none of our work happens in isolation. It's made possible through philanthropy -- the gift of time, talent and/or treasure given by those who care about this community. We are one of the best because we reflect the community we serve -- the people, places and organizations who comprise greater south Wood County.
