WATCHDOG ANNOUNCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE
 
Diverse Group Lends Expertise to NCRP’s Research on Philanthropy
 
 

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy (NCRP) announced today the members of the newly created Research Advisory Committee. The advisory committee comprises esteemed academics, practitioners, economists and researchers with a range of expertise in the broad array of issues affecting the study of philanthropy and its role in society.

The Research Advisory Committee will be chaired by Cynthia Guyer, executive director of the San Francisco Schools Alliance and a member of the NCRP board of directors. Members of the committee are:

  • Christine Ahn
    Senior Fellow, Korea Policy Institute
  • Dwight F. Burlingame
    Associate Executive Director and Director of Academic Programs, Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University
  • Hodding Carter, III
    Professor of Leadership and Public Policy, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and Former President and CEO, The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation
