Meet the NCRP team
Communications Assistant
Avery Crocker serves as NCRP’s communications assistant, utilizing her skills across the traditional and social media to support social justice organizers and their philanthropic allies.
Avery was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and having seen and felt the impacts of gentrification and a lack of representation for people of color and lower-income communities, she has committed to using her platform to further empower these groups. During her internships with organizations such as United Way and Urban Alliance, Avery developed a passion for supporting marginalized communities and youth. Throughout her college career, she worked and partnered with various organizations to curate content, formulate marketing strategies, and analyze data through their social media platforms to increase awareness on issues surrounding social justice.
A recent graduate of Kent State University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
