2021 National Immigrant Integration Conference

Field Director Ben Barge and Basma Alawee, National Campaign Manager for We Are All America at NCRP nonprofit member National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA), will co-lead a session at this year’s NIIC. Ben and Basma will facilitate a hands-on session about how to apply classic organizing principles to the world of institutional philanthropy. Attendees will explore case studies where people have successfully used collective action to win more money and power from foundations for their communities. They will also receive guidance to create their own action plan to bring back home. This track is designed for nonprofit executive directors, for community organizers, and for development staff who want to strengthen their organizing skills.
