The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a substantial loss of human life worldwide and presents an extraordinary challenge to public health, food systems and the world of work. Many workers and people falling into extreme poverty were particularly vulnerable because they lack social protection and access to quality health care and have lost access to productive assets. Senior Engagement Associate Brandi Collins-Calhoun will join health funders to reframe and reimagine different effects to improve health outcomes and philanthropic institutions that can help lead the way to better health for everyone. Together, they will discover how to adapt to different events to build a more just and equitable future.
